Walk with Us Link Up every Wednesday at www.cookingupfaith.com
If you have a faith based blog you probably feel like it is a form of ministry for you. A way to spread God's good Word and encourage others right from your own home. Paul did the same thing. (Acts 28:30)
What can be frustrating is wanting to reach many, but actually only reaching a few. Here's how I look at it - a blog is similar to a class project one would get in class. This project, blogging, is one God has given to us. He allows us to let our creative minds use what we like - telling stories, sharing testimonies, writing scriptures, sharing our daily readings and thoughts, ect., but we all have one goal - to reveal Christ. We put our posts out there. Some look, some don't. But only Christ Jesus holds our grade, our reward. (Revelation 22:12)
I encourage you to keep writing, keep sharing, keep encouraging on your blog, or any ministry you are a part of. Let the goal of revealing Christ be higher than your goal of reaching readers.
When the apostle John heard and saw all that was revealed to him he stated, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!" Revelation 22:8-9
Fellow servants, let us walk side by side, not above or below each other, as we serve and glorify our precious Lord.
