My "finding faith" posts and "operation fatty" posts seem to be some of my most popular ones. I think it's because they can relate.

On my food blog, dessert posts beat everything else be far...LOL

Besides the contest/giveaways (of course!), my most popular post was a four-part Q&A About Boys series. In it, Dr. Thompson (a psychologist, school consultant and author/co-author of eight books) answered readers' questions about raising young boys.

My most popular (and my gauge of that is # of comments) are the off topic ones where I'm kinda ranty...they tend to be a bit funny and I guess people relate to them. I had one about poop that got a load of comments (pun intended) and then this one got a few as well...Psycho Mom? It sure Looks Like it!

I too think it's post about the things that everyone else can relate to. My most popular post seem to be about the unfortunate incidents of my life. Not in a tragic way, but in a "I can not believe that just happened to me" way. It tends to be the posts that write themselves without being force!

I agree with you. I don't think many people care about what I or my kids did today or what book I have just read.

I try to communicate in an interesting or funny way an experience seen through the eyes of an expat living in Paris. So an everyday occurence may take on another level of interest when it has a cultural spin to it.

Some of my recent most popular posts have to do with dog poop, outrageously expensive pre-school teacher's gifts, mistress gifts, Speedos, and Starbucks secret rendez-vous.
