What is blogging for you? A job, a hobby, or a combination of both?

So many mom bloggers are in different phases of blogging. Some are brand-new to blogging and consider it a hobby. Other moms have been blogging for years and now consider it a hybrid between a hobby and a job. And some mom bloggers approach their blogs strictly from a business point of view.

Blogging is more of a hobby for me right now, but I'd like to turn into into something more. My blog is only a month old and I'm working hard to make it grow, so we'll see what happens! I should have started blogging a long time ago. I always thought I would love it, and it turns out I do!

Started as a hobby, meshed it's way into my work, gave it break for awhile... and now going full force because part of my job is staying on top of the technological/social trends for small businesses.

I guess it is a hybrid, but if clients know you blog, you have to be very careful what you put out there (as well as on other social media sites.) I've heard horror stories!

I would love to increase my readership as well. I am finding it a bit difficult. I do like coming on to the site and reading other blogs. I have found some great blogs. I normally keep track of the blogs that I join and try to comment on them at least once every other week until I just never hear from them. I love having tons of blogs to read and respond too.
