I am finding it harder and harder to make time to blog as the season takes over, the end of school is here, and general activities of the kids being home commences.  That being said, I find my readership is slowing down too.  What about you?  Do you take a break over the summer from blogging, blog more sporadically, or keep it about the same?

I was thinking of even taking a bloggy break and just letting people know I would be back sometime later in the season.  Do you think that helps or hurts your blog?

I am personally taking a little break as we are in the middle of a move...with no permanent housing until july 3rd. I have enjoyed my children more and am enjoying the break. I think I need to take a few hours one morning and get a good plan for my "return" with a good series, etc. I don't think you lose subscribers, but maybe people who actually click to your page and refresh might lose interest if there is no new posts.

So, yes... i think it is fine to take a little break, or to post less during whatever season... Christmas, summer, etc. Whatever season for you demands more of you...you need to do that.

I hope my break doesn't "hurt" my readership, but I needed the break from worrying about numbers and clicks, and networking, It will be nice to get back to good content that I am excited about writing about.
I have no plans on slowing down. I'm less busy in the summer as I'm a daycare minder and I have off in the summer. Readership slowing down? Well then, I guess I just have to make sure my readership increases this summer despite the general trend. :-D
This will be my 3rd summer blogging. I have found that my readership goes really drops in the summer. I don't know if I should blog more to try and build it up or just take time off since people are away and not visiting my blog anyway.
I'll be doing more. I work at an elementary so I'm on summer break. Don't envy me too much - I"ll SO broke until the fall. Then I'll only be so broke. Could you tell the difference? Don't worry. Neither can my debit card.

Well, I am a student, and I'll be starting my senior year of college in August/September. I just went back last August/September and had to slow down on my blogging because I hadn't been in school in 11 years, was going through a high risk pregnancy and had a six year old (at the time) at home. The spring semester was even worse. I am blogging more now and trying to do more with it becuase even with my older daughter at home, I have way more time than I did. I'm hoping to carve out time during my senior year to blog more. I made time to read, just didn't get to write a lot.
I am blogging less only because silly me I decided to start college in the summer semester! Ugh
