This is a group for all the proud attachment parents. The ones that sleep with their baby, carry their baby or wear them in sling, for the moms that do not practice cry-it-out, do not spank and take a loving, gentle and natural course to parenting.

Comment by Cynthia Tolbert-Wilson on March 30, 2013 at 1:25am I would love to increase my readership as well. I am finding it a bit difficult. I do like coming on to the site and reading other blogs. I have found some great blogs. I normally keep track of the blogs that I join and try to comment on them at least once every other week until I just never hear from them. I love having tons of blogs to read and respond too.

Comment by L Young on October 20, 2012 at 5:06pm Hi,
Can I join you ladies? My children are no longer babies. Theya re now ages 4 and 7 and I believe attachment parenting continues for life.
Comment by Shanna C. Beavers on August 1, 2012 at 1:00pm It's like you took the words out of my mouth. 20 months ago I started doing what came naturally to me when Lilly was born despite what others said. I didn't know that was a "thing" until my mom referred to it as "that attachment parenting thing you do". Huh? That was the first time it occurred to me that I was doing things differently. :-)
Comment by Sarah Halvorsen on July 29, 2012 at 5:25pm Hi everyone, I just found this group, and I hope I'll be welcome here… I follow AP guidelines as possible. For example, I cosleep, still wear my 14 month old, no crying it out, etc. Some decisions were taken out of my hands though, as my son was born early, and with a rare disease that only allowed me to breastfeed for one week (until they got his diagnosis right) - he has a very strict low potassium diet, and the potassium I ate going to him would have been dire. We spent over 3 months in the NICU, so it's been a rough road. AP has helped heal the bond we weren't able to form after an emergency c-section, and not seeing him for HOURS after the birth, and then of course going home without him...
Comment by Dalynn McCoy on July 27, 2012 at 6:06pm Hello! New to MBC and happy to be here! I'm one that's semi-crunchy, but don't swallow the whole pill. LOL We breastfeed (my twins will be 2yo in Septmeber and still going strong), cloth diaper, co-sleep, baby wear (as infants), and probably more. I'm frugal-minded and a lot of my parenting decisions are based on that, and Christian so everything I do I try to filter through God's Word. Anyway. Thought I'd post a quick intro. :) Thanks for having me!

Comment by Carmen Malcolm on November 5, 2011 at 9:36am Hey Ladies,
I'm new so I wanted to introduce myself! I am the proud attachment mama of a 7 month old baby boy, who was born naturally in a birth center. I am new in the blogging game and I talk a lot about natural birth, birth plans, breastfeeding, placenta ecapsulation, and, of course, attachment parenting. If you would like to check out my blog you can follow me here:
Thanks!
