Looking for advice on blog identity, moving formats, nuts and bolts of SEO, etc.

I am hoping someone can help me with some advice on things I am thinking about regarding my blog.

Last summer I moved from blogger over to wordpress and also changed my blog's identity. It was a disaster. I hate my new format and my designer kinda left me high and dry as far as maintaining my PR rank, GFC followers, SEO, etc. I'm not really happy with my blog's identity either. On top of that, I really hate working with WP.

Soooo...what I want to do is switch back to blogger and revamp my blog (name, design, etc.) BUT I don't want to lose everything I've built up. Are any of you familiar with blog designers that can help move content as well as manage SEO to make the most of this transition? I have the design for my new blogger blog all set up, I just want the "nuts and bolts" of the background and redirecting to be taken care of.

Hi Melina,

Thank you for asking! I did not go forward with this after all. In fact, I forgot I even posted this here! What I ended up doing was finding a better design and when that happened I finally learned to love WP. I am really happy with my stats and don't want to spoil anything. I still have a feeling of wanting to do something different, as far as blogging goes, but if and when I do, it will be a completely separate venture. I'm currently content and am going to stick with what I've got ;)
