I have not made anything yet. I've used widgets and text links. I guess I am not writing enough on those subjects or incorporating them correctly. I'm going to check out the sites/blogs that are successful with it. Thanks for sharing your information.

I am not sure what SERPs are? I worte a review on a Spongebob DVD player and also recommended a kid tv/combo and have sold several of them. I no longer write at that site, but my articles are there and still generate clicks. I won a $50 amazon gift card or cert, not sure yet on twitter today and want to use an affiliate to shop with it. No one else put in their link at the forum discussion.

Over $100 a day. I need to know your secret! Have you written a e-book or article about how you do it?

I have used Amazon for a couple years. Text links, widgets, banners, etc. It is not uncommon for me to make over $100 a day. The key is good SEO on your blog and post popularity. I have many posts that are many months old and they still get visits and create purchases every day. Affiliate links without good traffic and SERPs will not be very profitable.

I write reviews on the products and then use the box with picture. Here is another way I use it for multiple items in one article:

Just checked stats from yesterda, 4 books and one toy purchased and 47 clicks. I am hoping to get to 6.5% soon. Have to do some new toy reviews to give it a push.

Bonnie, I wish I knew your "tricks of the trade". I've been w/ Amazon for over a year and haven't made one red cent. Nada, nothing. I mainly use text links in my blog posts.

Welcome to Amazon Associates. This is the affiliate program that pays out monthly, end of month and is two months behind. What we made in October will be getting end of December, so we can buy our own holiday gifts.

The program used to be quarterly and that was a long wait. I have been with AA since June of 2005. I use it for my blog and site and in newsletters and on twitter. The first quarter I opted for direct deposit into my checking acct and then switched to the gift certificate. The cert usually comes around 26th or so of each month. The cert is good for at least a year, maybe longer. I keep a folder in my email with all my affiliate info. Share how long you have been with amazon associates and likes/dislikes of the program. I wish the move from 6 - 6.5% was faster, I can easily jump from 4 - 6% but never made it passed the 6.5% rate.
