How exciting to see our group growing.

I have enjoyed spending the morning reading all of our new member's posts and have made comments at each of your websites.

With our growing group I would like to emphasize that all comments to posts should be made on the respective websites.

Let's use this group for critiquing and writing tips. Here is a following guide of how to use this group:

1. Give us a link to a post that you would like critiqued.

2. If you have been published, we would love to get your insights.

3. Let us know your freelancing experiences and how you got started.

If you can think of anything else, feel free to add to this list.

Happy New Years Everyone and welcome to the club Patricia, Natalie, Planet Mom, Rhonda, Maternal Spark, Em, Jennifer, Joey and Erica.

Hi Planet Mom -
What a great post!! I loved it and you had me laughing (and remineiscing). Once I was in the bathroom and this poor woman was so stressed trying to get her 4 year old son to unlock the bathroom door ("no mommmy, I cannot. I need privazy"). She threatened to crawl under the stall door - I was cracking up - but I think it was was going to take her a year or two to see it as funny :-)!

Hello, all! I just started my blog at the beginning of December and have oh so much to learn...I have always been a writer though and am looking to get going in the freelance world though it is admittedly quite overwhelming to me at times. To follow the above directions, I would say that my current favorite post is one about my father: http://mommyonfire.com/2009/12/08/december-8/. Thanks so much - look forward to getting to know you all!
