Hello ladies! I'm new to Mom Bloggers Club and generally new to blogging itself. I write a local blog about the area where I live (North Idaho) and mix it with stuff about my family. I'm told I'm a pretty funny gal, so I'm hoping it translates well into writing. Please check out my link below. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I read everyone's comments, but rarely post. I promise to do better! I have added quite a few of the blogs listed here to my reader. I am one of the editors for MomShare, net -- a Digg for Moms. I am the Parenting & Family Editor. If you see an article that you think would work on MomShare...let me know. JillAnneBerry@msn.com

I write as well. I was recently hired as the Baltimore Parenting Tweens Examiner. Would love for someone to give a look to my site. Do articles seem relevant...interesting? What about the writing? Examiner style is not to use 1st person. Do you think my voice works? http://www.examiner.com/x-35346-Baltimore-Parenting-Tweens-Examiner

Hello all... I just put together a rather long post that contains a lot of information I learned my first year of freelance writing. There are tons of links, including one to the query classroom, a great website all about writing a great query. I am looking forward to perusing all of your blogs!

I'm not really looking for critique, but I am looking for opinions. :)

I'm on Twitter, though I don't use it for writing purposes! I may once I get closer to finishing my MS. Then I can start to promote me as a writer. I do have a WordPress blog that is going to end up with my URL.

Here is an incredible website for all of you to subscribe to, Jane Friedman at Feedblitz http://blog.writersdigest.com/norules/. She has a great column called Best Tweets For Writers and you can find many answers to your questions there.

Also, are you all on Twitter?

Congratulations Jillian on completing your book!

I met with a publisher last week who suggested I get an agent before completing my book. Does anyone have any ideas regarding that? Any great sources for putting together a query letter?

Hi Everyone,
Just stumbled upon your group and am so excited to join! I don't consider myself a writer, but rather, a "journaler". (I don't even know if that's a word - go easy on my technical inabilities) I started journaling and documenting my experiences as my hubby and I committed to 6 months of Marriage Counseling. I find the writing process very therapeutic and am looking forward to meeting and chatting with you all!
