Poindexter, perhaps if you do with your brain, what I do with my writing when the plot and the story I am writing become tangled and difficult to work through - put it all aside and forget about it for at least a month. I then find something fun to do that has nothing to do with that story. Maybe begin a new and different story, take a short trip and relax, or get out in my garden and weed up a storm - it usually needs attention form me.

And if your anger is about something other than your writingn then sort through it and find answers. Banging your head against a wall of anger only hurts your head - the wall stays just fine!! Once you have a handle on your anger you may be surprised at how fast everything else falls into place - including the story you were writing.

May you gain peace and contentment ASAP + the strength to survive until you do.

Thanks Deana! And thank you so much for leaving a comment! :)

Mayra, I'm off to check it out. I've submitted poems to other children's magazines with no luck. Maybe it's time to try my luck again!

Hi everyone! I've been a member of this wonderful group for many months, but I've been very absent lately. Just thought I'd stop by and say hi and try to catch up with everyone again. Since I last joined in the conversation, I was offered a monthly gig at the PBS POV blog Regarding War writing about my life as a military spouse. If you feel like checking it out, here's the link to my latest post...http://tinyurl.com/288tvay

Swati, great interview on Single Mom Seeking, and congrats on the wedding! Naomi and Peryl, I have some catching up to do, but you know me, I'm not always prompt. Everyone else, I'm looking forward to meeting you!
