Linda, I've been following her progress on Facebook, and praying for her. I have a daughter the same age, so it's hard to imagine.

Deana, I'll have to add your grandmother to the list!

Since it's Thanksgiving this week, I've been thinking about how I'm thankful for writing. What has the act of writing added to your life? http://bit.ly/ab3mew

Thanks Meagan and I appreciate your kind comments on the blog as well:)

Moved and tearful...the latest posts from Deana and Linda are heart-wrenching and beautiful. It is a gift to share pain in such a touching way. I will keep you both in my prayers.

I feel like I have missed so much...because I have. I am glad to be out from under the demands of college coaching, and I am so excited to fully embrace the "writing career".

For the record...this is the very first network I visited to get back to reading current and interesting blogs, and to find the inspiration to get words flowing again. Missed you guys!

Oh Linda, your little girl, I'm so sorry! I do hope she is okay. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers...hugs

Oddly enough I was coming on here to apologize for not being on much lately because I have practially living in the hospital. Doctors found a tumor on my Grandmother's brain. She is in stage 4 of lymphoma and we know it won't get any better. I wrote a short piece about her and would love it if you all would check it out:)

I am praying for Linda and her daughter. As a critical care nurse I know some of what she is going through. Prayer does wonders. Blessings for the family and for complete recovery.

Oh Linda, I am so sorry this happened to your daughter. You both will be in my thoughts and prayers. I guess it takes a big knock like this to sort out your priorities. She has youth on her side mate, and the marvels of today's medicines. Fingers crossed for her full recovery.

Sometimes life decides the course you should take...on Nov. 2 my 16 year old daughter suffered the effects of a brain hemorrhage right at a time when my publishing business was really taking off great guns. I've had to change my focus a bit and, although I have not been able to write about what has been happening to my daughter and family much, I have expressed my gratitude to those who have stepped in and helped with life and business: http://writersshelflife.blogspot.com/2010/11/taking-bit-of-breakbut...
