Hello Naomi and Vivianne,

First of all, Naomi, your story was so gripping and descriptive. I left a comment for you over at your website.

Secondly, I'm sorry that my comment was confusing.

I agree that we have a good solid group here, and I also like the smallness of it. I sometimes get so overwhelmed with the vastness of social networking and can get lost in it very quickly.

What I'm thinking is that all social commentary should be kept in the comment section of our websites and any critiquing should be done here in The Aspiring Writers Group.

If we are all following each other than we should be aware when a new post has come up on our websites but it would also be good to mention it here.

Hi Jillian and Vivianne--I loooooove this group! I agree with Vivianne that everyone has been wonderful and very dilligent about leaving comments on each other's work and the comments are fantastic and very insightful! But, Jillian, did you mean that we could be posting more questions to each other in the comment section here or something like that? Or posting our favorite blog posts/stories/essays that we want feedback on? I love the way this group is going, because everyone is so talented and it is small, so keeping track of each other is not too hard. It's a wonderful group! I love it.

Hi Jillian- Could you clarify your comment a bit. Where you referring to the comments here on MBC or on the blog posts themselves? I think for the most part, several members of this club have been pretty consistent in reading each others posts and leaving comments. Was your original intention for the members to be more critical and substantive with their commentary in terms of the writing? Is that what you mean by "Steer each other to greater depths and heights?" Or did you have something else in mind?

Hello everyone,

So I wanted to ask everyone what they would like to see from this club. My initial intention was to keep the comments focused on our writing in order to help steer each other to greater depths and heights.

Please share your thoughts on what you would like to see more of.

Theo, welcome back. I keep forgetting to ask you- You left a note for me when you sent the friend request but I clicked on the "accept" invite button before I could read it! I was curious- could you leave a comment on my page as to what you asked?

Naomi- thank you for the comment on Snapshots. That was a lucky shot! But since you were wondering- I hate to say... my cooking leaves much to be desired! LOL! My children have told me definitively that Grandma's cooking tastes better!
