Naomi - loved your Green Diva article - I remember loving it from your blog. Such a nice, evenhanded, non-judgemental approach, which is my very favorite kind. Great job, as always! (I left a comment, I'm hoping it shows up - commenting forms and I are not always the best of friends...)

Hey Aysha and all - re: Mamapedia - it's easy to submit - I believe on the Mamapedia voices page where my article is there's a link that says something like "would you like to blog for us" - when you click, I believe a form comes up where you can enter your info and copy and paste your article. I've submitted and had three articles accepted, it seem to take between a week and month to accept. Good luck, I'm sure they'd love to publish all you fabulous writing Mamas!!

Oh! And the book I am writing is about trying to find the balance between living organic and the messy day-to-day realities of being a mom to small children. Its called "Organic Motherhood with Cool Whip." Kind of similar to the content on my blog. Check it out sometime if you wish. And thanks again!!! Take care.

Thanks so much, Aysha!! That was so kind of you. And I just visited your blog and loved it!! Great idea to be a support to other writers. I look forward to spending more time there and learning.

As far as submitting to Green Diva, you should do it!! Send an email to writeforus@greendivamom.com and tell Janet Harriet (the editor) that you are interested in being a contributor. Maybe send her a sample or two of your work that seems appropriate to fit their content. She is very nice and I'm sure would be delighted to work with you!

Thanks again!

Naomi..I just read your article and left a comment.. You really did an amazing job! At times, I felt like I was looking at a mirror image of ME...I am sort of relieved to see I am not the only mom who faces such issues... hee hee. Thanks for sharing such a well written article. I wish you luck getting published. What kind of book are you trying to publish.

Also, how did you start writing for them? All I see is an email address. Do we just send and enquiry and get started?

Thanks
Aysha

Save Money on Event Planning

Whether we like it or not, we will all at one point have to wear the event planning cap. Why is that?
