I would love the extra encouragement! I'm have a few stories that need revision. I agree with you Christina about self-publishing I would much rather get published traditionally. As a librarian I know what a barrier self-publishing can put on a writer as far a getting reviewed and getting on library's shelves.

What a whirlwind of amazing adventures and more to come thanks to all of my readers: A weekend at The Viceroy, girls weekend at the Sorrel River Ranch in Moab, more family fun at the St. Regis, interviews with the best coaches and summer programs for our kids, story on Valley Angels and best of all, I picked up our new family traveler, Muki, out of puppy cargo in Denver today.

As I have mentioned before, since I do not have a follow button, if you are interested in following my stories, please subscribe to my blog at http://aspenreallife. I too will make sure that I follow all of you!

Sounds like a great plan Jillian. My next step is to send out more query letters. Thanks for the advice Shelina, and others, about self-publishing. But, I really, really want to have my stories accepted by an agent. Maybe if nothing happens in a couple of years I'll get smart and self-publish. By the way, your Jazzy books are darling.

I use CreateSpace as my printer for my very small publishing company and have been extremely pleased. For our purposes it has worked well. I also help people through the process. If they just need info., I am available for that (no charge!) and if they need someone to do it....I offer those services (One Stop Publisher). My partner, Lori Newman and I have started a brand new blog that will discuss marketing books (Beyond The Last Page). I am in the process of building an online bookstore where we will place your books and market those books for a percentage of sales. It's great for those starting out because there is little upfront cost. Lori and I are always happy to talk to people.
