I use CreateSpace as my printer for my very small publishing company and have been extremely pleased. For our purposes it has worked well. I also help people through the process. If they just need info., I am available for that (no charge!) and if they need someone to do it....I offer those services (One Stop Publisher). My partner, Lori Newman and I have started a brand new blog that will discuss marketing books (Beyond The Last Page). I am in the process of building an online bookstore where we will place your books and market those books for a percentage of sales. It's great for those starting out because there is little upfront cost. Lori and I are always happy to talk to people.

Hi Christina
I have recently published 3 picture books using create space. They are a self publishing company and I have been very happy with the whole process. Ever thought of going that route?
If you want to take a peek of what my books turned out like, you can visit my site at http://www.jazzyseries.com for a slide show.
Please let me know if you have any questions about self publishing. I'd love to help out another aspiring author.

Great group! I write children's books and would love to get them published. Maybe joining all of you will get me motivated. Stop by for a visit Singing Three Little Birds.

I am slowly working on a novel, which needs to morph into some sort of finished product in the next year (I'm trying to finish up my MFA). Two babies in just over a year have slowed, or derailed, my writing process. I just recently started a blog, which is about my life with my family. As the novel progresses, the two might converge. www.papoe.typepad.com

I'm new to this group, but it's great to find other Mom writers out there. My specialty is childrens books. I love them. I can't stop writing them, my problem is getting them published. Any advice?

Hi Ladies:
I am going to have a child development/behavioral specialist as a guest expert on my site...do you have any questions/challenges related to your kids you'd like me to pose to her? I would need the ages of the kids and as much description as possible. Please email me at swatibharteey@rcn.com

Thanks!
Swati
