Hello all... I just put together a rather long post that contains a lot of information I learned my first year of freelance writing. There are tons of links, including one to the query classroom, a great website all about writing a great query. I am looking forward to perusing all of your blogs!

Happy Sunday everyone,

It's been busy here with the X-Games in town. I'll try and catch up with all of our new members in the next few days. Until then, check out my new blog http://aspenreallife.com

I'm not really looking for critique, but I am looking for opinions. :)

I'm on Twitter, though I don't use it for writing purposes! I may once I get closer to finishing my MS. Then I can start to promote me as a writer. I do have a WordPress blog that is going to end up with my URL.

Here is an incredible website for all of you to subscribe to, Jane Friedman at Feedblitz http://blog.writersdigest.com/norules/. She has a great column called Best Tweets For Writers and you can find many answers to your questions there.

Also, are you all on Twitter?

Congratulations Jillian on completing your book!

I met with a publisher last week who suggested I get an agent before completing my book. Does anyone have any ideas regarding that? Any great sources for putting together a query letter?

Hi Everyone,
Just stumbled upon your group and am so excited to join! I don't consider myself a writer, but rather, a "journaler". (I don't even know if that's a word - go easy on my technical inabilities) I started journaling and documenting my experiences as my hubby and I committed to 6 months of Marriage Counseling. I find the writing process very therapeutic and am looking forward to meeting and chatting with you all!

Speaking of epubs vs traditional print--for those of you who are published or in the midst of getting published, have you found it easier to be accepted by and work with epubs? Do their readership levels even compare to print?
Thanks!

Congrats Jillian! Where will you be submitting you book? Print pubs or epubs? Working with an epub kinda has me biased. :)
