Good luck Richele!! I'm in the same boat. I sent out two queries and then froze for a month; have just thawed and started sending out more!

Really, I think that I'm more than good enough and that someone would be very lucky to read what I write. LOL!! JUST KIDDING! In all seriousness, I have the same fears and questions. I just sent off my first query letter and while I don't expect much it gave me a boost to make a dream a reality. So, here's to sending off more of them! :)

Hey Fellow Writers, I just started blogging in April of 2009 and have reignited my passion for writing! It is a dream of mine to become an author, although, I have all the insecurities of someone just newly discovering her passions - am I good enough? would people enjoy reading what I write? can I actually write a novel? would someone really publish it? do I even have the time for this?
Anyways, check out some of my favourite posts from my blog, MOmMy bRaIn:

I'll do the same for you - add me as a friend!

Hey everyone! Am new here :) I'm a single mother of four and grandma of one. I started my blog as a test to see if I can write something every day. And now, it's become more than a test, it's become my space where I can say or do anything. I'm really loving it. I also love reading other mommy blogs. Gosh! We are definitely a creative lot! I am amazed every time i discover a great blog. Moms rule!! :)

How is everyone doing?
Welcome to all the new members. I've been busy with school work (writing school :) ), but I'm trying to read everyone's blog and follow those I may have missed.

Happy blogging!

I have been moving so am on serious catch up mode. Looking forward to reading 43 amazing blogs!! Just posted on depression -
Would love your thoughts if you have any.
i would also like to add that i struggle with wanting to post more often but if I have nothing of note to write i'll wait. I hope that in the readers I lose the others will come back when i post knowing it is worth a read...?
I would love information from women who have been published...sample query letters, what NOT to do, how to avoid wasting our time and theirs.

Hey! New here!
I really want to write some books! Need to learn the basics though. I would love to write some non-fiction and fiction, childrens books and how-to books!
Also here is my blog link!

I would like more information about real opportunities and real ways to find jobs freelancing.

My goal for my blog was to retain my sanity, to be "me" again and to write about my life, my kids and my faith. I want my blog to represent me. I want my blog to be a personal look at the writer. Sad thing is this...there is no blog and a few columns and a book in the works is all the writing I do for now. lol. I never intended for my blog to be huge but huge is nice if it helps advance a real career. Yet, my blog is personal to it's not just a starting point. Wait..I just broke the rule on rambling and being too long so i will stop.
