Hi Everyone! Sorry I have been MIA here but with the craziness of work, birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries.... Get my drift? Jillian- I just read the winning post on the Half Drunk Challenge and it was really fantastic. Edgy, and heartfelt. Flowed very nicely. A great example for us to be inspired by. Thank you for pointing it out.

In fact- I have been so inspired by everyone here and their efforts, I decided to enroll in a writing course at Rutgers! Sometimes I feel my writing is awkward and I'm hoping this will help give me the confidence to keep going with my book endeavor. I have been faithfully reading and commenting on everyone's posts and if I left anyone out please let me know.

Congratulations to Kitch on winning the Half Drunk Challenge! I spent a great deal of time reading posts on, felt like reading an interesting novel; Unputdownable!
Thanks Jillian, for sharing.

Happy Sunday evening everyone,

I had a wonderfully festive weekend which included coming home late night and writing a few posts for the Half Drunk Challenge. It was a great exercise in letting go on your writing on an uncomfortable topic . The stories are well written and fun. Check it out

Swati, I went back and read your revised article and I enjoyed having the image of the two of you drawing for each other.

I have found that writing is like my yoga practice, each week I am concentrating on different elements helping to make my writing stronger. One week its strengthening character development, the next its adding conversation, the next its description...perfecting writing is a life long ambition.

I look forward to revisiting all of your sites this week!

Hi Ladies!

Jill- as you know, I really enjoyed my recent visit to your blog house. This is a wonderful group you've started here. So glad to be a part of it.

Swati, thanks so much for the kind comments! Just came back from reading your post- How I Changed My Attitude About Exercise and Healthy Eating- Isn't it amazing how life forces you to take care of yourself and in the end rewards you with awesome personal results? I really enjoyed it (but now feel guilty about not working out lately (-:) So thank you again for reminding me of how much better I will feel once I get back on track!

Thanks Blia. I'm not so new to book reviews since I review for Thomas Nelson Publishers and a few others. I read a book and write very honestly how I feel(felt?). But, i'm new to reviewing home based businesses/ work at home jobs. I only provide information so that moms who may be searching can make an informed choice.
I'm looking for moms who work from home to be guest bloggers, sharing what they do at home, how they started,etc......

thanks for the CC tip, I'll post what I find here.

Thanks for your friends invite Theo. I haven't done much with that products review group though. I really don't know how to even start doing one. I might have to rely on you for some guidance on that end. Anyway, I've heard of constant-content but have not written for them before. I would suggest to do a Google scam search on them and see if there are any complaints.

Thank you Theo. I left a comment on your post on Tiger Woods too. I think that you raise some very interesting questions in the article.
