Great news, Carla. Always a big step putting yourself and your writing out there but a good step towards your writing goals for the New Year. Blessings for much success. I will check it out.

Good for you, Carla.  A blog or a website is important if you want people to know about you as a writer and read your books.  You don't need to divulge state secrets, mate.  Just let readers know about what you are writing and when it is published.  The more fun and interesting you make it the more people will come back to read it.

I've taken a big step...I've started a writing blog. It's a big deal because I feel like I've admitted to the world (well, okay, just those who happen to come across my new blog!) that I'm a writer. Usually that is top secret, totally classified information! Anyways, I'd love some feedback on the blog--it's at http://carla-jansen.blogspot.com/

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope your holidays are filled with wonderful things.  Good news on my daughter's last head CT...things are going back to "normal" though dr. is still talking surgery late Jan. We're contemplating a trip to Mayo in Minn. In book news, 2 books on my bookstore shelves are battling for top positions on the Amazon Charts.  Ellen Maze's "Rabbit: Chasing Beth Rider" is sitting at #1 and Andrew E. Kaufman's "While The Savage Sleeps" is at #2 on the Horror Occult Top Ranked lists.  I'm pretty excited about that!  When I blogged about it yesterday on the TreasureLineBooks blog, she was at #1 and he was at #5.  I joked that he was chasing the Rabbit and I guess he was!!!
