There's so much health stuff going on! Last night my 15yo son collapsed. He's been sick with a chest cold and a stomach virus, and his Type 1 Diabetes makes sickness very complicated. I was ready to take him to the hospital, but the doctor on call wanted us to try to avoid it. It was a night of hard work and no sleep, but he's turned the corner (with lots of prayers, too). So thankful.

By the way, if any of you writers want some amazing free forms to keep your writing business organized, I love these that I found:

Thanks Debbie and Margot and oh Debbie, how has writing not blessed my life? Don't you all feel that way? I love it!

Deana, your piece really moved me. I am still thinking of Linda and her daughter and praying.

Linda, I've been following her progress on Facebook, and praying for her. I have a daughter the same age, so it's hard to imagine.

Deana, I'll have to add your grandmother to the list!

Since it's Thanksgiving this week, I've been thinking about how I'm thankful for writing. What has the act of writing added to your life?

Thanks Meagan and I appreciate your kind comments on the blog as well:)

Moved and tearful...the latest posts from Deana and Linda are heart-wrenching and beautiful. It is a gift to share pain in such a touching way. I will keep you both in my prayers.

I feel like I have missed so much...because I have. I am glad to be out from under the demands of college coaching, and I am so excited to fully embrace the "writing career".

For the record...this is the very first network I visited to get back to reading current and interesting blogs, and to find the inspiration to get words flowing again. Missed you guys!

Oh Linda, your little girl, I'm so sorry! I do hope she is okay. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers...hugs

Oddly enough I was coming on here to apologize for not being on much lately because I have practially living in the hospital. Doctors found a tumor on my Grandmother's brain. She is in stage 4 of lymphoma and we know it won't get any better. I wrote a short piece about her and would love it if you all would check it out:)

I am praying for Linda and her daughter. As a critical care nurse I know some of what she is going through. Prayer does wonders. Blessings for the family and for complete recovery.
