Marina, well written post, I hear you. I also wrote about gender differences and the struggles of raising a teen girl I have never understood why so many people find it infuriating or illogical to grant equal rights and equal pay. The world is a bizarre place.
Oh... and Arithmetic Village was also nominated for the Homeschool Post this year for Best Curriculum Blog :)
