I have a new post up. Would love for you all to check it out. This post explores the possibility that many standard birth practices may impede breast feeding success.
Set up to Fail at the Breast
Hey breasfeeding mamas! I am happy to have found you here :) I have been nursing one or both of my babies for 2 1/2 years now. My oldest son is at risk for autism and had weaned during my pregnancy when my milk dried up. He was 18 months. Not long after our baby girl was born, he unweaned. Now he nurses when he feels like it and baby girl is nursing great! I trully believe that it has helped him immensley with his sensory issues and also to connect emotionally with his baby sister <3 I do write about it on my blog but that's not all I write about. I write about our life. I did have a recent post about breastfeeding that I titled Boobs! lol Check it out if you'd like :) I also talk about My son's unweaning in this post. Anyhoo, glad to be here. I love connecting with other nursing mamas <3
