Just thought it seemed neccessary to have this as a topic, since we Christian moms deal with so much and go through ALOT just in one day as a mom! You can share your prayer requests here.. anything from prayers for your marriage, your family, your blog, anything!! (Or praise reports too..)

I'll start with mine: I just started a new bible study on my blog.. Homemade Bible Studies and would appreciate your prayers with that. Please ask God to lead me and direct my words on every single post to my website because I want Him to take the lead.

Thank you,

Jackie

Jackie, I think this is a wonderful idea. Here's my praise report: I thank God that I celebrated my 11th wedding anniversary over the weekend. I got married for the first time at age 40!I conceived naturally and gave birth at age 42 and 44to two healthy daughters. I'm a living example that God is able to do above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us! (Ephesians 3:20)

Wowwwwww!!! What a story :) And what an encouragement! Thanks for sharing.. I myself have been married for 3 years now and we have two children. 11 years is awesome.. congratulations to you and your husband Cynthia!
Your two little girls are very beautiful by the way.. and that scripture says it all! What a true testament to how God's grace knows no boundaries..
I also think this is a wonderful idea! I just pray for a safe delivery in September because of my fears of pain, of being in the OR again. And of course I want the baby to be healthy.

CeeMee, you and your baby are in my prayers.

"fear not, for I am with you;
 be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." -Isaiah 41:10

This scripture really helped me get through my two delieveries.. don't fear for the Lord is with you, you will do great!

This is a great idea. I have a prayer request for me and my family. My Husband and I are working on our marriage through counseling and a lot of prayer. Our 6 year anniversary is coming up and I want there to be many more. We just started going to a new church in April and so far, we do love it. We have met a lot of amazing people there and we all feel comfortable there. Thank God for that. Changing churches after 6 years was very difficult and still is but it was something that had to be done. I am also awaiting some medical test results for myself. Thank you all and God Bless.

Lorrie

Hi Lorrie!! Thanks for sharing your prayer request with us! Wow, that is wonderful to see that you and your husband have made it this far.. 6 years!! and are still in it by the grace of God.. I'm constantly being reminded that marriage was never meant to be "easy", but with God as the foundation and through prayer, like you mentioned, God can build and rebuild in a way that will simply baffle us!

I am praying for you and your husband to continue the good work, and for the Lord to prepare your heart to receive whatever medical test results you are waiting for. :)

Hey, would you consider joining me for a 31-day Devotional dedicated to praying for our kids?? Starting today, August 1, 2011.

These are short, very simple prayers to pray for your children (or it could even be someone else's child..) and will take about 5 minutes each day to do.

Hi Lindsey! It's so good to hear that you and your husband are fighting the battle together on your knees.. Me and my husband, likewise, can only give God all the credit for our marriage still going strong. I still don't know how He did it.. but I'm definitely praying for you that neither of you will not let anyone or anything drive a wedge between what God has joined together, and that He will lead into a community of brothers and sisters in the faith that will truly be there for you.. where you can serve with gladness in your hearts.

Pray for us too,

Jackie

An undesired pregnancy prayer..

Praying for you and this new news.

Just wanted to send a word of encouragement your way! Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “  I will be praying for you during this difficult time.  Blessings, Kristy
