For 2018, Make Finding the Right Activities for Your Kids Your New Year’s Resolution

New year, new you, new activities for your kids.  Is this is the year that Sam wants to learn to play the violin? Or Suzie wants to take up dancing? Or you need to find John a new lacrosse camp? It can be tough navigating all the options for classes, programs and camps.  In 2018, let other moms…

I completed two blog posts that included how my faith bright me through some rough times, one about Mental Health and situational depression, and one about a miracle I experienced. I got some snarling emails about how I shouldn't force my religion on others, so much so that I took down one post. I left the other one up because I remembered that Jesus was antagonized, so why wouldn't I be? But I'm just wondering what you think about my post, http://www.blog.thealphagenfiles.com/2017/02/situational-depression... Is it too much?

Hi Ele, I personally don't think it is too much but I may be biased because I share similar beliefs. But the way I see it is that no matter what you write about you will always have persons who oppose your views and I don't think you should let that make you second guess your writings and the messages that you want to share. That is just my opinion.

Thanks. Your so right. We'll never please everyone, but I want to know I've shared with others how I've been blessed and how my faith has brought me through.

I read your post and I  didn't see anything wrong with mentioning your Faith in your Post. The most important thing is that it helped you come out of a bad situation. I have a category on my Blog for my Faith-based posts. I believe that my Blog is a ministry.I minister to both the physical needs and the spiritual. If a reader does not like my Faith posts, the person can skip it or choose not to read it. I aim to attract people who love me for who I am. That's being sincere and real.

I even realized when I did my analysis last week that my visitors increase on the days I do my faith based posts. My Blog is still new barely 3 months old but I believe in Keeping it real. I  am always attracted to Blogs that the owner is not ashamed to speak about their faith and I believe there are people like me too who would want to read your posts. Keep being real and keep it up.

Regards,

Elizabeth.
