Dear sisters in Christ - please pray for my mother-in-law who is currently in hospital with incurable cancer. She is scare and distressed (doctors want to more unnecessary tests). We don't live near her so my husband has been on the phone with the doctors and nurses to make sure his mother is getting all the care and attention she needs. He is feeling very worried and stressed himself.

Hey- thanks for the advice, Mimi! LOL- it's really silly, I know, because I'm actually really involved with my kids education (my 3 and 4 year olds who are in preschool already read)and I totally DON'T plan to be one of those parents who just lest the school 'handle it.'- but homeschooling is TOUGH- and not for me! But I think a Mom's in Touch group sounds cool- I will have to check it out!

Brae, you are definitely NOT an odd one out. I never homeschooled my kids. They'd all still be at a Kindergarten level if I did! My oldest is a Freshman in college. :) I totally admire those who homeschool, but we weren't all created to do it. Some of us, and our children, can be a light in the darkness. When your kids start school, think about getting connected with a Moms In Touch group. I've been with one for 10 yrs and love the ladies I pray with.
