We had two bio. kids, then die to complications during my second pregnancy that prevented another, we adopted two. We thought we were done at four kids, but that little nagging wasn't done for me. Three years later, we were blessed to be able to adopt the birth sister of one of our daughters, bringing our total to five kids, but God was not done with our family yet. A year and a half ago, we adopted siblings from Ethiopia. I've stopped saying "we're done" because only God knows that.
I have often heard people say that they regret not having more children, but you don't often hear people say that they wish they wouldn't have had that last one!
Ok since no one on here KNOWS me, I'm spilling it! I've been dealing with infertilty for the last two years. I have 3 kids. 11, 4, and 2. At the age of 15 I was told I would never have children and then two years later I graduated high school with my baby girl in my belly. My husband and I did nothing to prevent pregnany after my 1st one and 8 years later I became preggo with my 2nd. After my son, we wanted to 'complete' our family and went through all the testing. Several infertilty issues later and several rounds of clomid, we had our 3rd child. I thought our family was complete, if so why do I desire another child so strongly? Especially when I know we cant really afford it, and dont really have the room, besides knowing there would be sleepless nights again?
which one do you like better and why>? just for fun I'd love to hear your feedback:)
Prayer. That is the best advice I can share. Pray and listen for the answer He has for you. It is such a blessing to be able to homeschool. God will point you in the direction that is right for your family. If you were wondering types of materials, there are tons of great Christ based curriculum out there. Some of my favorite are Rod and Staff, My Father's World and for the older kids the Notgrass company has wonderful material. Good luck on your adventure :)
We live in a small small village actually we aren't even on the village but on the outside of it with a whole 500 people. I homeschool my 5 children and love it. This past year has been a tough one when our 4 year old ( 5 now) was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. With homeschooling the kids were able to be there for him we have been able to work our schooling around appointments and hospital stays. As for advice I'd be more then willing to help where I can do you have any questions in general?
