Two Beverly Hills Hotels Worth Your Stay

SONY DSC I am always grateful when I stay at a luxury hotel. More often than not my stay is tied to a junket. Kerry I was going to private email you but it friend requested you LOL ;) Anyway What kind of stuff is he doing? That would help. Home schooling can help. My friend does it with all 4 of hers and they still get out and are very social kids (if that is what your husband is worried about) more people now are doing it than ever.  But she still has a defiant child. Best thing to do is give him boundaries and what expectations he is to follow then tell him what happens if he does xyz. For example my son decided that going potty in his pants was easier than going on the potty (after a year of being potty trained) so told him that if he does it again I will take away his beloved toy and will have to earn it back by going on the potty again. He shaped up quickly.  Time outs work sometimes. You just have to find what will effect his thinking so he knows if I do A then B will happen and I didn't like that last time. I rarely use spankings but he does get one once in a while especially when whatever he is doing is dangerous. Have to be VERY consistent all the time even when you don't feel like it! My mom thinks I am strict on my child but I refuse to have one of those kids that is a brat/bully. Each child is different and reacts differently. I have a pretty compliant child but my friend does not she has done EVERYTHING and there are time her daughter still does stuff. SHe knows what will happen to her (usually spanking, time out, and early bed time) SHe is doing MUCH better now. They key is consistency don't give up and have a solid front with your husband if he knows one is easier or will give in more he will go to that person and try to get away with it! I hope this helps a little! :)

Hi ladies.  I am mom to two boys, 6 & 2.  I was wondering if I could ask for advice...We are having serious behavior issues with both, mostly with the older.  He is in kindergarten at a public school.  His attitude seemed to change after his little brother was born, then has gotten worse since going to school full time (he was in our church pre-school for 3 half days for two years prior).

I am wondering about home-schooling, but my husband is really against that.  I am not sure if we are dealing with normal boy stuff, or if there is something else going on.

Any advice would be appreciated!  I am in the process of redoing my blog and hope to have another one up and running soon.  So if you are following me, I may ask you to follow my new blog in a few days.
