Stephanie I think that Melinda is right! I went through something last year at work and I made the wrong decision although at the time, I was convinced it was right. Sometimes, we can convince ourselves we are in God's will when we are far from least I did. was hard. I failed the test but I learned a lot from it. You probably aren't as stubborn as me though. God will honor you if you are really seeking Him about it.

I definitely can, Stephanie. Sometimes in blogging and in life in general, we have a certain picture of what we think success looks like. I have to constantly remind myself that God views success as obedience and He'll use it to accomplish His purposes, which might be different than ours. You're seeking Him, so I know He'll help you discern what's best.

This week I've been offered an exciting PR opportunity, but I've been asking myself...Is this a blessing or a test? I've resolved to maintain integrity over getting ahead by the world's standards. I've chosen to honor God at the end of the matter what. Matthew 16:26.

Can anyone relate!?

Melinda, I just read your post on mixed-messaging parenting. Thank you for that. I followed you because I can always use that kind of reminder and the encouragement that goes with it.
