Courtney, that's soooo exciting!! Praying that you have a safe trip and that you're able to share in a wonderful way how wives can respect their husbands and that it's not some awful archaic thing. Blessings...

The Rachael Ray Show found my teeny weeny blog and a producer contacted me! They are doing a segment on the topic of marriage - specifically one where the wife respects and helps her husband. I am flying to New York City today to be a guest on their show on the topic of marriage - the taping is tomorrow. For more details and the airing date (which I think is this Friday, Nov. 6th) go to my blog at http://www.womenlivingwell-courtney.blogspot.com

And mommy bloggers - keep blogging away because you never know when a producer will stumble across your blog too!!! Persevere mommies - persevere!!!

I found my template at http://btemplates.com/ When you go there, look at the template on the front page called TA Jardin (I love it...wasn't there before!)...that blog has the "pages" under the header. That is what you are looking for. You can really fiddle alot with these templates and they are pretty...and free! My template was Natural Health...or Health something or other..it was of a woman doing some sort of yoga pose. I changed the header entirely because I liked the rest of the layout. I'm still not completely happy..I want something lighter..but I took the picture in my header so I'm a bit attached..makes it seem more personal to me. Anyway, have fun there is so much you can do even with as little html knowlege as I have.

Thank you, Richele. I will check some free blog templates out when I get a chance :). Where did you find yours?

Living for God...my blog's template came with an area to gather posts together under one heading to make a "page". I wanted pages also and my last template didn't support it so I changed templates. I assume there is a way to add in HTML that would do the same thing on any template..but honestly I don't know HTML well enough. If you do a search for free blog templates...make sure to look at the template's header area and see if it has pages. It's really easy to use them once the ability is already in the template.

Moms, if you'd like to share a wonderful, passionate, CHASTE love story with your daughters or sons, go find "Bright Star," Jane Campion's new film about Romantic poet John Keats and the love of his life, Fanny Braun. It's only playing in select theatres, so you'll have to hunt for it (go to http://www.brightstar-movie.com/ and enter your zip code to find the theatre closest to you), and if you're an action movie buff, you'll probably fall asleep. But if you love period pieces, beautiful cinematography, character studies, or romance, this is two hours of bliss. Best of all, John and Fanny's relationship is based purely on affection and admiration and, in one particularly touching scene, they make a conscious decision not to consummate their love. Fanny and her mother are portrayed as strong, capable women--a nice change of pace for the stereotypical simpering females typical of that day and age--and family relationships are valued and celebrated throughout. Much to reflect on and discuss with children aged 12 and up.
