We usually take our meals with us when we’re out and about. Since we’re gluten free, it’s easier to have food with us instead of trying to find “safe” food to eat. That doesn’t mean that we never eat out, but that’s the exception, not the norm for us. One of the difficulties that we’ve found with taking certain foods (cheese, yogurt, meat) is keeping the foods cold. Ice makes the foods less than desirable. Ice packs tend to thaw a little too fast especially in the summer....

When I read about the Packit cooler, I knew that it was something that I really wanted to try out. I thought it just might be a solution to our problem.

The unique design of the Packit cooler allows products to stay cool up to 10 hours. Obviously, this depends on outside factors. The ice packs are built into the cooler (bottom and sides), so the entire personal cooler is placed in the freezer. The whole cooler folds flat which means that it doesn’t take up make space in the freezer. (Huge plus!) When you’re ready to use it, you just pull it out of the freezer, fill, and go.
