How is everyone doing? Just stopping by to say hello. Dating is always a challenge when you're a single mom, but I managed to "get out" on 2 dates with a great guy recently! Third date this weekend!!

Hi y'all! My soon-to-be-ex and I separated in April of this year and are going through the divorce now. I didn't intend to start dating right off the bat but a guy just kind of fell in my lap and here we are. I've got a 4 year old and 2 year old and their dad rarely takes them for visits so it's been interesting to find time for dating but we're trying to make it work. He started out as a friend so he already knew the kids but they're catching on now that something is different. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm really ready for this...

I am not sure if its fair for me to be in this group....but I was just there. I just went through what you two are going through. I was divorced in 2000 (not by my choice). I did not start dating until 2004. I would have gone out if someone ask me..but I did not pursue anything. I began dating via internet in Jan. of 2004 and met my now husband of 2 years in July of 2004. So if you have any questions that I can help out with...ask away.
