One 18 yr old child left ... enjoying semi detached parenthood .... is it just me or are other Mom's enjoying a guilt free empty nest ?

We are not empty nesters yet. But both of our kids are in the twenties. I know the day is just around the corner that they won't be living with us anymore.

I remember when my oldest was first born, I was lamenting about sending him to kindergarten. Now...

There's no job like being a mom. It's the best there is. But now we need to find what we shall do next. I have owned a home based website for over three years, and I LOVE it. As good as being a mom? No, of course not, but I"m thankful to have it in my life.

Hi, I'm a working married mom of two teen boys (14 & 17). Next month they will be starting high school & college. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. I still see them both as little boys in the single digits.

Hi, I'm Jennifer. My sons just turned 20 and 23. My 23 year old moved across the country for a job and my 20 year old goes away to college. So technically in the summer and during school breaks we are not empty nesters. I write a blog about parents and teens and I can't believe I don't have a teen anymore.
