Tania, I had made a few mistakes with my Facebook account. The first one was creating a Saving Queen group versus a fan page. I had 87 group members when I realized that a fan page was better. Then I realized that I needed to creat a Saving Queen account instead of using my own. Create a FB account with your blog name. Then login with your name and send a friend request to your blog name FB account. Login to your blog FB account and accept the friend request. Also, become a fan of your fan page. Then log back into your personal FB account, go into your fan page and you will see the option to make your blog name FB account an administrator.

Maria,
I wish I had thought of that before I created my fan page... I don't like having mine linked either... but now that I own my name I haven't found a way that they can be unlinked...
Connecting the FB Fan Page to the Networked Blog Page is great!

I'm the "new kid", but I have a fan page: http://www.facebook.com/heathermama?ref=profile#/pages/YourCouponBuddycom/100893756149?v=wall&viewas=640795318 Hope that works.

Im going thru and adding each of your links now. Great idea!

I did not link my Facebook page with my fan page. I worked around it and created an account for Saving Queen and then made myself an administrator for the Saving Queen fan page. I used to leave comments with my personal account (Maria Strong), but I was starting to receive too many friend requests from people I did not know. I wanted to keep my personal page separate from my blog page. Sorry for rambling on! I hope this makes sense!

I think you go to edit page and then add applications search "networkedblogs". Once you install it I think it will walk you through...

Jake - do you remember... it was really tricky and I'm not sure I can retrace my steps... somehow you have to add the networked blog application to your fan page - from somewhere on your fan page... once you do that networked blogs kind of walks you though it...

How did you do it Tania?

Jake - I figured out how to migrate my networked blog and my facebook fan page and I want to thank you for letting us know you could do it!!!!
Amazing. And your point about the benefits... I can really see it!

I've become a fan of everyone listed here so far :)

If everyone goes through and Fans each person before posting a link to their fan page.
Then once you've posted your link you only need to come back and update from where you last left off. I periodically come back and add whoever is new.

Jake - You are right - you can't see new fans well enough to know that there might be someone that you need to reciprocate.

If everyone follows this protocol it should be simple enough though.
