Hi,

I was scanning through the groups and this one looks like a good fit for me - first time mom of a little girl - she's currently almost nine months old. Looking forward to checking out the blogs here!

The biggest surprise was getting pregnant at 41. I thought I was unable to for various reasons. I've been slow to take to being a mommy but now I wish I could stay with my baby girl all day. I so adore her now.

I went to see a psychiatrist for my PPD, and he put me on Pristiq which seems to be working. My 3.5 year old is sleeping through the night and my husband and I are very thankful for that! The trick is to keep them up as much as you can during the day and they will be exhausted by the time it's bedtime. Good luck; and let me know what happens. Gema
