Hi Leandra,
Thank you for your comments. I think it's important to know how we impact each other and how to be better citizens of the club. I'd ask one thing though, which is to not assume the intentions of a blogger based on the "following from MBC" comment. Personally, when I joined I opened the list to find over a hundred blogs. It's time consuming to go through each and every one just to have the privilege of joining the group. So my strategy was to fulfill the group requirements and THEN when I have more leisure time I can go back and really tour the sites. So many of the mommy bloggers have such great ideas, tips, stories, photos, and links on their site that I found myself getting distracted from my goal of just adding everyone. Whew! It took me three days :-)

So as one of the people guilty of leaving aforementioned comment, my apologies as I truly had the best intentions.

I'm still in the process of adding the newest blogs!! I haven't forgotten anyone!! Just wanted to touch base!

I have a TON of blogs that I follow, not just from this group but also others who I just happened to stumble upon and fell in love with. For the most part, I do comment on those that I read, as I would imagine they enjoy knowing someone out there is enjoying their writing. Just as much as I enjoy comments, knowing that people are connecting with what I write.

This group is rather large but I have found some really wonderful blogs through being a part of it.

One of the best things I've enjoyed about this group is discovering so many different kinds of blogs that I would have never been exposed to. I think we all find blogs that speak to who we are, where we are in life, what we find entertaining, educational, etc. I think a new mom wouldn't enjoy my site as much as a mom of older kids, but who knows?

Sometimes it's fun just to discover someone with a cool writing style or great wit. The blogs I visit again and again are usually the ones that visit me, and then I feel like I am really getting to know the author. There is so much wonderful writing out there!

I try to take the time, but the size of this group does make it hard. I do appreciate a friendly hello from the MBC, and it's even nicer with a heartfelt comment. I've made so many great blogging friends here.

Thank you Sarah! I agree with you 100%. I am following so many blogs myself that I never have the chance to read and comment on them all. I do find that I browse them during downtime and really get a kick out of the stories. My main issue isn't not getting a comment, but getting the "Hey following you from MBC. Make sure to follow me back please!" It bothers me. I'm not irrate, just frustrated. I just want to get comments from people who got something from my post, that's it. I pour a lot of myself in my blog, as I'm sure we all do. It's so fun to get a comment. I love to see my comment numbers change in my Edit Posts. It's a little insulting when someone takes time to write that (my example above). I want to comment back I know you're following me, doesn't matter where from, and I will follow you back!!! You know?!

Still thank you for your comment. It's really appreciated. You are very kind.

I'm taking your advice. I haven't deleted myself yet. I was trying to make sure I was following everyone who had followed me. But now, I think I'll approach the site a little differently. Thank you!!!

That is not what I meant. I've seen blogs with thousands of followers. What I mean is how many blogs can you personally follow? I am following nearly 200 blogs already. I want to know if there is a limit. I would hate to leave some of those good blogs in order to follow some of the blogs here in this group. If I could I would follow everyone. I just want to know if there is a limit.

Hi Leandrea, I'm following your site (I just viewed it) because I do think it is appealing and of interest; to me at least. I for one follow other blogs but never get a chance to read all of them, however there are those certain days that I am able to visit a few that I've overlooked for many months and for me this is worth it to follow and view my 'following list' of blogs I follow. Although there are several times I don't comment; I wouldn't have enough time in the day, but it doens't mean I don't visit or read some really awesome posts. Other times I do leave a relevant and thanking comment to the post. However I'm still pleased I follow along because often times there is something I'll 'get' out of someone's post that was overshadowed somewhere along the line. I think if this is something you want to back out of than that is your choice, but I am glad you at least left this post so that I can follow you. I like just the little bit I read about your blog and your 'about me' section. I think there are plenty of followers that may not seem interested in what I may have to always share but there may be a day, a time, a moment when that blogger looks beyond their main circle of blogs and step out into the world of unfamiliar blogs; hopefully they'll find something fun or inspiring in one of my posts or even yours and then they'll be blessed. But only time will tell, ya know? I understand your expression of frustration but I would just offer to give it some time. Sometime readers won't always leave comments but they will read and be moved; even if they don't have time to comment on everyone's posts. I hope you understand what I'm sharing and try to see it from this side; though please don't' get me wrong; like I said; I do understand your heart in this matter.....Yours, Sarah

I'm having a really hard time with one thing about this club. I try to read at least one post on the blogs I follow. I only comment if I read your blog and have something relevant to say. I do this because it means a lot to me to get great constructive feedback. You give what you want to get. It bothers me when I get comments that just say I'm following you from MBC. That means you were only interested in this club and not what I had to say. Maybe I missed the whole point of the club. I'm sure I have, rereading things now. Because of that, I'm gonna stop. I really want followers that are really interested in what I have to say. Followers who I can exchange ideas with and enjoy. I appreciate the follows, but I think I got in over my head. Happy Blogging Mommies!!!

Hi Cascia,

Not that I've ever heard; I don't think there is a limit with Google friend connect. There are some really massive popular blogs that have over a 500 followers such as this one here: Bring The Rain. and there's another one I found too not to long ago but can't remember the name of their site. It really is amazing how popular some blogs are, isn't it???

Question, is there a limit as to how many blogs you can follow with Google Friend Connect?
