Karen P, there is nothing wrong with "unfollowing" anyone who isn't following you. I think everyone should take 5 minutes once in a while to see if they are following everyone back. Just saying....

I am also looking for new followers but I find it impossible to follow everyone. I try to follow what interests me...saving money...party planning...dieting. Its unfortunate that blogger limits you to how many you follow. For me its hard to follow blogs that talk alot about little babies...My children are 8 & 12 so I am out of the baby gear and toddler years. I hope this helps and I hope no one is offended

That is what I do Emmi as well. I follow blogs that I read at least every other day to keep caught up, and post to. There are a few blogs that I have had on my list for a while that haven't posted anything in months so I might go through and do a clean-up job on them. I can understand that I'm one of the newer folks here so people don't want to follow, which is fine. I was just hoping to pick up a few followers, but that is okay as well. The ones I have, we seem to visit each others blogs all the time and that is what it is all about.

Honestly, Karen my methods are a little different. I follow as many people as I can but if I'm honestly not going to read your blog then I won't follow you. I also, (and a lot of people use this method) peridoically go through and clean out my list, unfollowing people's blogs that I haven't been keeping up with...although that's usually only a blog or two at the most. I think with this group it's not follow to be followed. it's more follow who you would like to follow. Hope that helps!

When you all start to follow someone, how long do you wait before you remove them if they don't follow you back? I haven't removed anyone, but I have signed up to follow people and haven't been followed back. I know with blogger you can only follow so many individuals, so I want to keep those spaces open to people that are following me as well. Thanks.
