Ladies, I'll throw another idea at you all you might not have considered, I have been privy to conversations of older ladies who don't understand the technology well and were under the impression that you have to unfollow and refollow for EACH giveaway. They said when a giveaway closes they unfollow, then 're-follow' for the next one. They think that is how you get the credit for following. I've tried to explain that is not true and not necessary, and they say well it works for me honey! LOL - I found it interesting, and I have observed I too have followers who unfollow then re-follow between EACH giveaway, it's so weird!

You are so funny Shelley. I thought. I was trying to think too. Oh no did I miss following someone. I always follow everyone right back. I thought oh no did I miss one. Then I thought oh no did someone get offended that I had Eden Fant giveaway. I worry to much. LOL
Shelley bummer. Not too noticeable hu?

I HATE being in the 90s! LOL. I am fine since my number went from 417 to 416...but if I went to 399 or any 99, I'd go nuts. Something about being so close to the next step! LOL. Yep, I'm crazy.

Oh Shelley...that's hysterical! She should just keep following you since she is obviously checking in on your blog. lol.

I follow with no intention of being followed back. I just followed a blog the other day and don't expect to be followed...nor did I have that in mind...I just really liked the blog.

I was at 300 & now I'm at 299, I wanted to cry :( I didn't know what I did... but at l feel a little better now.
Comment by Richele on April 8, 2010 at 7:32pm are right we cannot take things to heart. I can understand cutting down on your following list.

Cindi: yep, they are the ones missing out..that's for sure! :)

NO WAY! That so happened to me. It was VERY obvious because I was at 200 and then it was 199. I was so sad. I kept thinking oh no. I am too sensitive. Bummer. I have been there too. :( Not sure why someone would stop. EMMI you too. Oh my goodness. I feel better to know I am not alone.
I was thinking the same thing they enter and that is it. Doesn't hurt to keep following hey may like the upcoming giveaways. After feeling terrible. I had to tell myself they are missing out. :) Right ladies. :)

you know its interesting this came up, but i think its the nature of this type of group and we cannot take it to heart. I have probably followed a lot more than I have recieved back, and its OK. my blog may not be for everyone, and quite frankly when you get into the mix of things you are following everyone, but then you can't possibly have the time to read all of the blogs you follow and so i will shave it down. and i expect the same to happen to me. the bottom line for me, is YES I want a lot of followers but I don't want just numbers I want people who read my stuff and I am sure you all feel the same, so don't be offended, the person who dropped off was probably not actually even accessing your blog from their dashboard and while that hurts because you want everyone to read the stuff you work hard on writing (believe me I know) you also don't want to think you have 500 followers and only one reads what you have to say.
