The spray paint I used on my bathtub has chipped in a couple of places and I can see a little of the original color around the drain. I was disappointed to see that, but the color has been on the tub for almost six months now, and I guess for $40 dollars it's still an okay product. I wonder what it will look like in one year?

Sorry to have been away so long, but now that finals are over, I can look at home improvement projects again. My list is daunting, including painting the ceiling in the dining room, painting the front doors as well as a little landscaping in the front and back yards. Any suggestions for someone on a tight budget?

Sometimes I am so over being a home owner! This house is about forty years old and it feels like everything has to be retrofitted to make it work. I'm also annoyed with some of the improvements made by the former owners. For instance, when they did any floor work, they would tile over things like thresholds and baseboards, which in turn makes it very hard for us to do the job correctly. I have a retrofitting door nightmare right now because they tiled over the threshold, making it hard to install a door unit without busting out tile!

Great, I can't find the screws for my doorknob! The toilet also has a small leak. Once that thing is fixed, I'll never disconnect it again. Aside from a little moulding, I'm really enjoying my new bath and I'll post pics soon.

Welcome newcomers. Has anyone every tiled their kitchen counter with granite? Is it any harder to cut than the usual ceramic tile? I know I have no business even thinking about this kind of project at the beginning of the semester, but I can't help myself. Actually, next on my list is repainting our front doors and putting on new hardware.

I painted my bathtub with one of the diy kits from Home Depot. The tub was peach, but is now a creamy white. The color went on very well, but only time will tell about how durable the finish will be. Has anyone else used one of these kits? How did yours come out?
