Symptoms to Take Notice of in Children

The NHS has been facing ever-increasing pressures in recent years, with slashed budgets, staff shortages and lack of resources taking its toll on the quality of care. One of the many ways we commonly see the impact of these pressures is in waiting times for GP…

Do home schooling parents use SKYPE?  I am setting up a program that will offer Virtual School and Home School visits to suit individual classroom needs.  I read from my books, talk about the writing and illustrating process, and give a short lesson in writing if that is desired. I love to get reluctant readers (often boys) reading, and I encourage kids to write stories as well as read them. I also welcome the questions children ask me.

If several home schooling parents and their children joined together, where Skype and a webcam were available, this could be a fun and educational experience for ALL ages.

My REVIEW of Kathy Stemke's PB,  "Trouble on Earth Day," can be found here: http://hookkidsonreading.blogspot.com/

This charming "green" story teaches kids about recycling and reusing - and it's a FUN read too. The great info and games at the back are icing on this yummy cake.

Welcome to Carla and her preschooler.

Esther, I also loved Dolphin Tale.  Home schooling your children can be a wonderful experience dor both parent and child.  Congratulations.

PLEASE NOTE:

If any of you think your children would enjoy a simple, short time-travel adventure e-book,  in easy to open and read PDF, I have just the thing FREE.

I put characters from my 3 latest books into a fun adventure. Two of them must help Taconi and Claude find their way back to the Aussie outback of the 1950s - where they come from.

and this FREE fun story is yours to enjoy.
