I am a Charlotte Mason fan!!! CM is NOT unstructured. My kids have learned more, read more, and accomplished more in one year with CM than with traditional methods. Try amblesideonline.org for curriculum suggestions. CM is not unschooling or montesorri. Try googling CM helps and also look for the CM carnivals for what other moms are doing. I don't have any websites on hand at the moment...I will have to search that out.

Hi, I'm new to this group and I'm not even a homeschooler...yet. I'm seriously thinking about homeschooling my two girls next year (ages 6 and 8) but have so many worries and doubts about my ability to do a good job without going insane. I also have two little boys at home ages 3 and 1. Has anyone else ever been where I'm at right now? What helped calm some of your fears?

Hello everyone! I’m new to the blogging community and very excited to make new friends. I like to blog about fun, frugal, educational activities you can do with your child. Today I suggested activities you can do with shaving cream. An example activity is writing spelling words in shaving cream. For more fun shaving cream activities and fun ideas check out my blog at http://funfrugalmommy.blogspot.com/ I am looking forward to meeting new people!

Hey guys- check out our new homeschooling blog.

It is authored by my daughter and I (mostly me right now.)

I am using this blog as a way to encourage her to write and to continue homeschooling. She sometimes talks about wanting to go back to P.S. in the fall.

It can also be used to show stuff we are doing if any authorities are in doubt.

Please drop by and leave my "Princess" a message- I would appreciate it and I think it will encourage her.

Also, if your kids have a blog, we would love to visit it.
