I never thought that I would be a homeschooler, but here I am. And I have to say that it is rewarding and challenging. I am working with my 4 year old and I have to say he is doing exceptionally well. My 2 year old has another year before I can really work with him but he does pay attention when I am teaching his older brother which is a good sign. I'd love to hear anyone's experience in home schooling or any tips you may have.

Hi everyone! I love schooling my children. I enjoy sharing what we do on my blog. Our boys are 10, 12 and 25 and I'll be a grandma in a few weeks. I have to share the Thingamajig hunt the boys and I went on a few weeks ago - the boys learned a lot and you may enjoy doing this with your children. I had so many people email me in private about it and that they were going to do it again this weekend that I reposted it and issued a challenge. This is a fun family idea but I'm also going to do it with my mom tomorrow. Here is the challenge: I challenge you to go in to your drawers, closets, cabinets right now and find something that would go with my post on Thingamajig - link back to me to show everyone what we are doing - leave a comment with your post linked for others to go view. I have 5 children and have been homeschooling for over 10 years with at least 13 more years to go:)

Yea! I've always needed a homeschool hideout! I am a homeschooling mom of two terrific boys, ages 12 and 14, and I blog about our family obsessions with technology and the hijinks that can often occur in a household of three techies, and one hubby being dragged kicking and screaming into the digital generation. Come by and sit on my front porch for a while if you have the time. Great to meet you!!

Hi! I homeschool my only daughter ( due to her being LD in math. The public school she was in just was not helping her and she was struggling ...for now my oldest son (10) is still in public school (his choice) not sure for how much longer tho. We will see how this year goes..I am already schooling my two youngest boys (2 and 16months) Loving every minute of it! :)

I'm a homeschooling mom of two. My daughter is starting 6th grade. She has learning disabilities so it is a challenge to believe that I can teach her! My son excels but is so difficult to get motivated. Wouldn't do anything other than homeschool--even on the hard days.

I'm a homeschooling mom. My girls were homeschooled for a few years after having been in public school. My youngest daughter (15) is a sophomore and went back to school after 4 years of homeschooling. My boys (4 &7) homeschool... we love seeing how much they learn without a school-type curriculum.
