HI, I'm not quite a homeschooling mom yet. DS is 3.5 and I think I'm going to start him on some preschool homeschool curriculum in the fall. We are most likely homeschooling for at least the majority of elementary school. I can't wait to get advice from homeschooling moms.

Hi Everyone,
I am new to the group. I have twin boys that are 5. I am homeschooling them. I really am leaning toward Raymond Moore's philosphy on homeschooling. I love being home with the boys. I had to quit my job when they came along so in order to make ends meet I started my own home business which allows me to stay home. We have so much fun. Bike riding, reading, going to the park and watching worms (they watch them, I stay away from them yuck) I am grateful for groups like this that are available for support and suggestions. Thank you all!

Thanks Tammy - any hints of tips would be great! Especially on where I can find some guidelines on where he should be and any free circ sites would be very helpful (my husband is a student and we are on VERY limited income right now) I really just can't let him fail anymore, or be bullied the way he has been.

Hi Annissa!
I homeschool our daughter who just turned 13 last month. We love homeschooling and plan to do it through graduation. It's a great way to keep the kids close during those tumultuous years!

Brooke, I am. I'm just now getting back into MomBloggers and HSL though, right after I joined both I got displaced from my home by a hurricane. I lost my desktop computer in that, then my laptop died. I'm borrowing hubby's laptop until I get mine back.
Helpful depends on how much people post, sometimes it's sporadic.
