Hi! I'm new to this group. This is my 3rd year to homeschool my little ninja dude & we love it more & more every day! I blog about our homeschooling adventure, along with other things, at simply jess. I have written a post on why we decided to hop on the homeschooling bus, another over what I enjoy about homeschooling, & a few other things that you can read here. I would absolutely love to make new homeschooling Momma friends, so please don't be shy!

Can't wait to check out the homeschooling blogs listed! :)

Hi everyone! I'm new to this group and new to homeschooling. This is our first year. I'm nervous at times but overall am loving it!

I just tried Splash Math for my son and would love to know who else has tried it and what you think about it.

You can read what I thought about it here

Good to meet you all!

Hey Everyone! I am pretty new here and would love to get to know you all. I am a Mom of 3 very active boys (14,9,6) and we have been homeschooling since my oldest was in K. Shecki B, we used MFW for many years and really enjoyed it too. As my kiddos got older, we decided to start piecemealing it. I still have the Countries Penny game I made, for when we get back to learning about the countries with my little ones. So glad to be here, and can't wait to get to know you all!

Shecki that is great that you have had such a good experience. Learning needs to encompass a variety of approaches and experiences for there kids. I know with my kids that we have love having the opportunity to mix it up, reading, activities, visual/videos.

I really like the chronological approach to history.  And the Exploring Countries and Cultures year was So Much Fun after more than a decade of workbooks, it really changed our whole homeschool.

I have a blog!  You can see it here.  The name winter promise sounds familiar, but I have no experience with them, sorry.  We use mostly My Father's World.

Hello everybody! I am new to Mom Bloggers and would like to say how neat this is!

Also anyone that has a blog? Is anyone familiar with WinterPromise Publishing?

I would love to increase my readership as well. I am finding it a bit difficult. I do like coming on to the site and reading other blogs.  I have found some great blogs. I normally keep track of the blogs that I join and try to comment on them at least once every other week until I just never hear from them.  I love having tons of blogs to read and respond too.
