Hi everyone! I don't comment on here as much as I would like but I have gained a lot of great info! My question - I'm planning an event to start with my one year Blogoversary on May 22nd. Thought it would be cool to plan a birthday/summer event that I would like to hold for one month which coincidently ends at the official beginning of summer. When should I start contacting PR? Now? Sometime in April? I don't want it to be too soon that they toss the request aside and forget but I want a successful event!

I'm having a month-long event right now. I started contacting people the beginning of February which worked out well for me. You need to give the pr people time to get back to you and ship out products.
Thanks Heather & Stacie!!!
Hi,
Just curious as I have never heard of this before. What do you do over the month?
My goal is to have a new review/giveaway everyday through the event. In addition to that I'm going to have posts that coincide with summer related activities (recipes, staycations, crafts, summer beauty, bored kids etc)
