Oh ok thank you Ellen, I appreciate your time and answering my question. Everyone else for asking questons, I didn't ask but wanted to:)

You always have the option to turn down an offer from a company. I don't review everything that I'm contacted about. As far as only posting positive reviews, I'm not sure. I think the purpose of doing a review is to give honest feedback. Otherwise it's not really a review if you only say good things about what you get.

My blog is called "I Love These Products" simply because I only post positive reviews about products I (or other moms) really like. I choose my own products so I don't know if Blogspark and some of those other sites that will send free products to review would be useful to me. What do you think?

If you get a free product from a company to review it and you don't like the product, what do you do?

No I don't ever charge for a product review. I think asking the company to send you both a free product and a payment is a bit much. Plus how could you possibly be unbiased if you were being paid for your reviews?

Hi all I'm new at this for the ladies that have done many giveaways. Please let me know do you charge for promoting a product to giveaway from a sponsor? If so what do you charge? I do have my media kit. Anyone please respond who knows. Thanks in advance:)

Regarding Twitter followers:

I use http://truetwit.com/ - you can allow it to send DMs to new followers that asks them to verify they are real people and not a 'bot'. You then get an email when they have been verified. I still end up with a few people that I do not wish to follow, but I haven't gotten any verified followers that were spammers.

Cheri - Twitter is odd like that. You can post a comment about a friend who is a homeschooler, and BAM there are like 5 people that are homeschool twitterers following you! I do like you do, and check folks out before I follow and most of the time I don't follow back (unless they have something to offer content-wise).

Wow! You guys just had a good 'ol chat fest today! I missed it but there is a lot of insightful info here. I am keeping everything in notebooks & in Bookmarks... LOL
My brother is helping to get my Blog set up (as in the set up of columns, buttons, etc) as soon as he is done we are adding design elements and then... I just need to upload a few articles I already wrote and check out how to post pics I have taken of things (projects) I so hope to be ready to publicize by this weekend! I already have quite a few followers on twitter and I haven't even reached out to personal friends and family yet! I hope that will make a difference- I think Ia m at 150 twitter followers (I know compared to other people that is not a lot but I have seen other people with double digits, I think I am doing well)
I am just trying to be the most informative person on Twitter on various things. So when I Tweet people check it out! Then follow... It seems to be working (I do have some followers who are strange... like twitter traffic campaign messages and such, I don't follow them though... Not sure why they follow me. A few foreign people follow me, I blocked one guy cuz I went to check his tweet page... He never tweeted inappropriate things to me but his tweet page had very suggestive tweets from him to people so I blocked him...
Anyway, thx for all this info! Just adding it to my filebox.
