Apryl: I got several reviews and I my blog is under a year old and I only started reviewing products in the past few months or so. I started out reviewing books...which I still do. Thomas Nelson has a blogger program and so does Revell and Tyndale.

Here are a few places I contacted directly:

Holey Donuts
Mixes from the Heartland
So Smart (baby and toddlers dvds)
Snorg Tees

I just simply used the contact form or contact email address on the websites. I said I was a mom blogger and interested in reviewing their product. Very short email..about 5 sentences. I also gave my blog address. Holey Donuts and Snorg Tees are VERY receptive to blogger reviews AND the products are great!

That is why I want to do it. I love free things. My blog is newer though. What do you recommend I do to help me with my chances?

I'm new to the game but I do as Stacie does. I would not want to be responsible for shipping out a giveaway..only due to paying for the shipping. :) I have only done 2 giveaways and I have another in the works. None of the companies expected me to ship out the product. I just inform them of the winner. I did request a giveway book from a book review I did...they sent me both books and I had to send that out. That's not a big deal. But I really don't want the hassle.

I also never had to pay for a product or shipping or handling. All of it is completely it should be. Having a blogger do a review is a great way for a company to advertise and much cheaper than many other forms of advertising.

Do you usually get a freebie when you review a product? I do Mam Buzz revies and they send me the product to keep, but no giveaways. How does it usually work?

I thought about putting a PR friendly graphic but I have not done it yet. I have two blogs and one is called Mean Mama Reviews....I think that doesn't need it. However, my main blog had more followers and has page maybe I should for that one.

Good to know. I'm glad I'm not the only one with minimal Blogspark offers.

Is it necessary to put a "PR Friendly" graphic on my home page? I see that alot

What is the deal with Blog many love it but I don't get it. lol. Maybe they don't love me! LOL. I never get any offers from Blog Spark. I get most of my reviews by contacting companies directly. If I see another mom blogger do a review and it's a product I am interested in, I contact the company. I have had great success with that. I also get leads from
