I'm hoping you'll find someone in your area, Robyn. If you ask at the Hip Homeschool Hop and Homeschool Village Facebook pages, maybe someone will know of contacts in your area. You should be able to post a request right on the wall at either page. At Hip Homschool Hop's Facebook page there's also a place in the discussion tab at the top where Northeast Moms can sign up to connect with other moms in the area. Good luck!

Hi again, Robyn! Did you find any homeschool contacts in PA? Did you find the blog hops through Hip Homeschool Moms and The Homeschool Village? Those are a lot of fun and a great way to meet other homeschool bloggers as well!

Thanks so much, Robyn! I left a comment at your blog with a link to some great online homeschool groups. In my post The Wonderful World of Online Communities, there are links to The Homeschool Village and Hip Homeschool Moms. Both groups have places on their Facebook pages where you can link up to homschoolers in your area. I imagine there are some great homeschool organizations in Pennsylvania as well. Let me know if you find some good local connections! And let me know whenever there's anything I can help you with!

Deb, I love you blog and will be going back to read a lot more!!  I am thinking about homeschooling my son.  He will go into kindergarten next year, and I would like to learn as much as I can to be ready.  In PA  there are so many rules and I am trying to learn them all.

Welcome, Elisabeth - I'm so glad you joined us! Your blog is lovely. I'm a real lover of children's books. Even though my children are grown, our house is still filled with children's books (waiting for grandkids)!

I love hearing that your daughter is in Montessori - good luck with getting into the preschool program! Please feel free to ask any questions!

Thanks for your comment, Michelle! I'm so happy to hear your family is having a great experience with Montessori! The longer I'm involved with Montessori education and the more I study it, the more I actually love it - and I loved it a lot from the time I first learned about it in 1975!
