I've had my Blackberry Curve for about a year now and still love it just as much as the first day that I got it. I'm not due for an upgrade for another year so this OtterBox Defender Series case in a welcomed addition. To be honest, I could have and should have picked up one of these cases when I first bought my Blackberry. It would have saved my cell phone from all the scratches it's received from dropping it or simply rubbing up against various things. Luckily the screen has never received a scratch so far and now with this case, it's as protected as it can be. This case included a screen and key protector film that wraps over your cell phone, protecting your screen and buttons from scratches, debris and water (not water proof of course). The yellow part of the case is made out of a hard plastic case that you snap around your phone before you slide the black silicone protector around the whole case making your Blackberry practically indestructible. Now when Baby Girl wants to play with my cell phone I don't mind because I know no matter how many times she drops it, my Blackberry will be fine.

The Cook and Play Potsy toddler toy was sent to me as part of the Birthday Bash event for review. I intended on waiting until Baby Girls birthday to give this to her but she happened to see it and heard it talking to her when I was examining it on delivery day. Baby Girl was bouncing in her knees on the floor saying "Whas-tha" (What is that), something new she started saying recently which in my opinion is super cute but then I am kind of partial to her. :) Naturally I couldn't resist her cuteness and handed it over to her.

At first I just showed it to her in the box, letting her touch, figuring she'd get bored of it so I could put it away until her birthday but no such luck. She enjoyed the different foods she could hold nicely in her small hands and had fun picking each food up and dropping them back in the pot. Not so surprisingly she thinks the toy spoon is for her to eat from; she tries sticking it in her own mouth. One of these days she'll figure out she can stir her toy food around in the pot. When she discovered the lid speaks to her every time she takes it off ("off" or "open") and puts it on ("on" or "closed"), she was obsessed with trying to figure it out. The Cook and Play Potsy toddler toy sings songs to her and makes sounds like bubbles as if it's boiling water, all cute features to make it more life like. This is by far her favorite toy to play with right now, she never seems to get tired of taking to play food out and dropping them back in which is excellent for her motor skills.

We finally have some decent weather where we can get outdoors and enjoy it. The itch of spring cleaning, planting a garden and new apparel in pastels and bright colors have taken over. I chose this Lotus Flower Backpack to review from Kidorable because I loved the pastel colors; the colors combined with the theme remind me of what spring is all about.

I was a bit concerned with the light colors but was assured once I observed the straps of the backpack were the same material as the rest of the backpack, a resilient vinyl like material, easily wipeable.

The straps have a vine/stem like design to them with leaves which I thought added to the cuteness factor. The front has a pretty lotus flower that pops out from the top; behind the flower is a zipper pocket to store all your little ones finds or trinkets. I don't know about your kids but mine LOVE rocks, pretty rocks; at least they think the rocks are pretty, even the ones that are really gravel rocks. The added flower zipper pull is a favorite of Baby Girls; sometimes she'd rather play with this bag instead of her toys. My favorite detail is the little bee buzzing above the flower, how suiting and such a cute added bonus to the design detail.

This little backpack is a toddler size, a little smaller than the ladybug backpack I reviewed back in March but not by much. I use this little cutie to take along a couple diapers, a small package of wipes, a bottle, a couple of toys, snacks and Baby Girls favorite Snuggy RagTag blanky. It's full by the time I get all those items inside but I have no need to take anymore for daily outings so this little toddler backpack is the perfect accessory. Baby Girl will soon have more bags than I have purses; I'm only a little jealous. ;)

I’ve never been a big gamer. My husband and children on the other hand get sucked into games with hardly a second thought. I tried out the Munchies’ Lunch game and quickly decided that I wanted to see what the husband and kids thought. You see, I’m big on competition but strategy is where I struggle. The game is a great way of helping the user learn to plan moves carefully before making any actual moves. I’d be lying if I told you I was a winner in this game. Sure, I made it through the first 10 levels of the first game quiet easily, after that, I was being gobbled up faster than I could make my strategic moves.

The children however, they didn’t even need the instructions. The instructions are extremely straightforward and obviously I should have read them a little better. However, my adorable little children didn’t need the directions; they were grabbing fruit and dissolving monsters fast and furious. One of my reasons for not getting interested in games comes strictly from the fact that once I get started, I have no idea when enough is enough and give it up. Unfortunately, my husband and children are the same way.
