Hi ladies!  I'm Annie and my boys and I are currently learning to fend for ourselves as my Army husband is on his first deployment!  I decided to start a blog to follow thoughts, raves and rants about this first adventure.  (most. original. idea.  EVER.  lol)  I'd love for ya'll to check it out!

(I'm not really into "follow for followers" though, so please only follow if you are really into it...I'd rather have a few who like it than many who only want another follower for themselves)

@ Emmi- thanks for stopping by my blog and I'm glad that you like the badge!

@ Liz- Check out CYS and school liaisons on your post. Also depending where you are, I would check out the local elementary school's school counselor or school psychologist. They equip us with ton of information on how to find schools and we usually have contacts or can get you contacts for the schools in the area you are moving. since I'm a SAHM now I have my stuff packed away but if you have any questions just send me an email at mommyfreetime at gmail dot com and I can try and look some stuff up for you!

I just wanted to stop by and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  This is my second Christmas without my husband, so I created a badge for all of the people who have a significant other that is currently overseas--deployed, on an unaccompanied tour, and so on and so forth.  Feel free to grab the button and put it on your blog by clicking here:

BIG question....as military wives we deal with this too often...but for me it is a first. We are PCSing from CA to Charleston SC for only 1 year. My oldest will start school (Kindergarten) next year. He will only go for a semester...BUT

HOW DO I FIND AND CHOOSE A SCHOOL?

We need to act rather fast...I know it won't mean life or death for this move, but I want to practice...for our move again.

HELP...PLEASE!!!

@Rebecca: Thanks for the holiday wishes and the same to you. I'm in the same boat as you. This is the first Christmas that my husband will miss so I know it's going to be a tough one for us!

Hi all,

Just want to drop by and say Merry Christmas to all of you.  I hope those who have their loved ones home this year give them big, huge hugs.  I am spending mine this year with my hubby deployed. So my heart and prayers go to those who are deployed and for those who are home safely :o)

Merry Christmas
