Hey everyone! I am new to the group so I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Dawn Lidwell, and I am a WAHM of two beautiful children. My 5 year old son has type 1 diabetes, was diagnosed at the age of 3 1/2. My 3 /12 year old daughter, we believe has ADD or ADHD, however our pediatricians keep telling me that there is nothing they can do or even have her seen by anyone until she is 5 years old, so, were not sure if thats whats going on for sure (without a dr dx'd guess its hard to tell lol) or what lol. I do have a Blogspot blog where I rant about my son's condition from time to time, but its not really one i keep up with on a daily basis lol. Its more like my online journal of sorts, and if others see it, fine, if not, im not too concerned. I also have a blog about my home business too. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself. Feel free to add me. Id LOVE to speak with other mothers of type 1 diabetic children!

I'm doing a give away on my blog with EASe computer games which have two computer games that have embedded coded music to help with auditory sensory processing. This is helpful for anyone with sensory processing disorder.

I just wanted to share this video called Autism Reality. It's one of the better ones I have seen in a long time.

Beth that is great for us to add--since Play Doh is usually a great material for kids with special needs. I just got another set of dough from another company--the smell was so strong we couldn't keep in the office once we opened it!

FYI - noticed some moms mentioned PlayDoh - it is great - might want to keep in mind that many special needs kids have special diets - if the child has any gluten allergy, intolerance, or sensitivity then PlayDoh is out.
