I will be participating in a HUGE Giveaway in February. I am looking for Sponsors that make handmade items. Especially items that would be loved by people and children who are physically handicapped. Such as items for people in wheelchairs, using a cane or walker etc. Remember, we like pretty smelling soaps, etc. too! If you would like to be a sponsor, please contact me via email at wheelchairdecor@gmail.com

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just posted an article on how to help yur child develop good scissor skills. These skills go a long way toward promoting handwriting ability. In the post I offer therapist tips on how to overcome difficulties with learning how to use the scissors. Feel free to take a look. It is helpful for all young chidren regardless of circumstance. The post can be found at Milestone Mom.

Your sensory plan is a terrific, mate. I am sure it will make many Hanukkah celebrations calmer, and more family friendly.

Hi everyone!! I actually have like 2 blogs and 1 journal. The first (www.lisachampagne-miner.blogspot.com ) follows our family as a whole. The second (www.fortheloveofkody.blogspot.com ) follows our son as does ( www.caringbridge.org/visit/kodychampagne ) and his illness Friedreich's Ataxia. This is a progressive, denegerative, neuromuscular / peripheral nerve disorder. This has caused the secondary condition Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy which is what is fatal in kids with FA. By blogging this gives me an outlet of sorts.
